Foundation
Supporting Coaches and Professional Skaters in need.
Established in 1996, The Professional Skaters Foundation (PSF) was founded to expand the educational opportunities of PSA members through a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable foundation. The trustees of the PSF have developed several scholarship programs for its members through a selection process based on established guidelines and criteria, and the Skaters’ Fund assists all coaches and performing skaters who need financial assistance due to natural disaster, sickness, disability or problems due to aging.
All contributions to the Foundation are subject to IRS rules regarding eligibility requirements. Your generous gift may be 100% tax deductible provided that you have not received any goods or services in consideration for your contribution.

The Skater's Fund
Founded by Coach Charles Fetter in 1998, The Skaters Fund assists coaches and performing skaters needing financial help due to disasters, sickness, disability, or aging. Since its inception, it has awarded over $250,000 to 80+ recipients. Charles Fetter passed in 2014 after a 12-year battle with cancer. His wish for the fund to join the PS Foundation was fulfilled in 2015.
Scholarships & Funds
A variety of scholarships and charitable funds have been developed to support our community of skating coaches and professional skaters. Please visit our scholarships and funds page to apply for financial assistance, or if you have the means to give and support a meaningful fund, we truly appreciate all donations.
U.S. Open
The U.S. Open Professional Figure Skating Championships promotes professional figure skating as an athletic and artistic event. Unlike other competitions, it allows all professional skaters to perform and compete, providing a platform for showcasing talent and advancing careers. It offers quality entertainment for the entire family.
